I was born and raised in Jamaica , I consider myself a big Jamaican even though I am now living in the U.S. Ever since I was small I was drawn to all things creative and found that poetry and singing , even acting are my greatest forms of expression. It is not uncommon for a little girl to be interested in those kinds of things. But all of it has stayed with me now and probably forever will. I have also taken up photography, the more ways you can find to express yourself in a world of conformation the better your chances of being enlightened. I have made many mistakes in life but to learn from your mistakes is the greatest accomplishment. Nothing is perfect even if some people think there is. Even the Pope has made some mistakes and I think many agree.
I thank everyone at JRP and everywhere else I have gotten training. Needless to say , real life. They have helped me grow so much in all the ways I have wanted to since I first took up a microphone, since I laid eyes on Titanic and even when I was dazzled by the strangeness of a butterfly. Thank you.
I want to leave you all now with an answer to a question that was asked in my English class.
Do you believe in freewill or determinism ?
I believe in both equally the same. Picture a clock if you will. It hit me the other day that, possibly, our destinations are already determined. No matter where on the clock the hands are you know it has to keep going around and around until it goes back to 12 and the cycle continues. So it is 1:00 you know that no matter what eventually it will be 2:00 , not saying you know what the end mark is but the freewill comes in when you have to change the batteries. You can change the batteries , you can leave it there dead , you can put in batteries you know will run out soon but whether or not you put batteries in you know time still goes on. So as long as there is time our lives seem to be predetermined but it is the road you choose and what you do that leads you there. The end might not be the greatest and you may not agree but somewhere maybe in a parallel universe you can see it’s meant to be.
